Ingredients

  • 1 kg Spinach
  • 500 g Paneer
  • 8-10 Cashew
  • 4 - 5 Green Chillies
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Lime Juice
  • 1 Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tomato Finely Chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Kasuri Methi
  • 5 Tablespoons Fresh Cream
  • Salt to Taste
  • Butter

Instructions

Blanch the spinach leaves in boiling water with some salt for 15 minutes.

Once done, strain the water out and rinse it in cold water.

Grind these blanched spinach leaves with ginger, garlic paste, green chillies, cashew,s and lime juice. Keep this green paste aside.

In a pan, add butter, cumin seeds, onions, and fry till golden brown.

Add tomatoes, and fry for some time.

Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and let it cook till the tomatoes are cooked.

Add the green paste into the pan and fry for 5 minutes.

Add fresh cream to the mixture and cook for another 5 minutes.

Add garam masala and kasuri methi and stir the curry.

Finally, add the diced paneer pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.

Garnish with some fresh cream.
