Ingredients

  • 250 Grams Grated Coconut
  • 2-3 Green Chillies
  • 2 Tablespoons Cumin
  • 2 Tablespoon Yoghurt
  • 2 teaspoons Coconut Oil
  • 4-5 Dried Red Chillies
  • 2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • Curry Leaves

Instructions

Add the grated coconut, cumin seeds, green chillies, quarter cup of water into a blender and process till a fine paste.

Heat 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in a pan.

Add the coconut paste and stir for 2-3 mins. Once it starts to splutter, turn the heat down.

In a separate bowl, add yoghurt and water and whisk till you get a buttermilk-like consistency.

Add the yoghurt to the pan and stir well.

Add salt and stir well.

Heat coconut oil in a small pan.

Add mustard seeds, dried red chillies and curry leaves. Fry for 1-2 mins till the mustard seeds start popping.

Transfer this to the curry and stir well.

Garnish with curry leaves.
