Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Lamb Curry Pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Turmeric Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Pepper Powder
  • 4 tablespoons of Ground Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Fennel Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Garam Masala
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2-3 Green Chillies
  • 5-6 Shallots
  • 6 Tablespoons Coconut Oil

Instructions

Mix turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt and lime juice to the lamb

Marinate the lamb for at least 45 minutes.

Heat oil in a saucepan & add shallots, curry leaves.

Fry the shallots till they turn golden brown.

Add the sliced green chillies

Add garam masala. Fry this for 2-3 mins.

Add garam masala. Fry this for 2-3 mins.

Add the ground pepper and fennel powder.

Add the marinated lamb & mix well till the spice mix coats the lamb well.

Add some salt and mix well.

Cook covered for 25 mins.

Cook uncovered till the water evaporates and the meat is tender.
