Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Lamb Curry Pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 200 g Cashews
  • 4-5 Dried Red Chillies
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds
  • 2-3 Onions
  • 2 tablespoons of Cream
  • 2 Teaspoons Whole Pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Mix red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger, and garlic paste with the mutton pieces

Put the marinated meat in the fridge

Marinate the mix for 1 hour

Pan fry the spices - dried red chillies, cloves, cumin seeds, whole pepper, coriander seeds, and fennel.

Roast the cashews

Blend the roasted spices and cashews with cream and water to a paste.

Take the marinated meat out of the fridge and rest for 10 minutes.

Put the meat into the pressure cooker.

Cook the meat for 3 whistles.

Heat oil in a saucepan and add cumin to it

Add thinly sliced onions and fry till the onions become golden brown.

Add the pressure-cooked mutton along with the water.

Add the cashew & spice paste. Mix Well

Cook the mutton for another 20 minutes or till the goat is tender.

Add finely chopped coriander leaves as garnish.
