Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Chicken
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 3 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Garam Masala
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
  • 2 Tablespoons Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1 Cup Tomato Paste
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Mustard Oil
  • Salt to Taste

Instructions

Mix yogurt, 1 tablespoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste, lime juice, 1 tablespoon mustard oil & salt to the chicken.

Grill it in a BBQ for 40 mins.

Keep Aside

Heat oil in a pan on a medium flame, and add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, bay leaves, star anise, cloves, cinnamon

Once the aromas are released, add ginger garlic paste and chopped onions and fry till golden brown

Add the tomato paste and fry for 2 mins

Add red chill powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and fry for 2 mins

Add some water to prevent spices from burning

Add salt, and the cream and let the mixture come to boil

Once the gravy has formed, add kasuri methi and cook for 2 mins

Add the chicken tikka pieces and cook the entire mixture for 2 mins
